A weekly flower bouquet subscription program that supports a flourishing ecology

What’s a Flower Share?

The Flower Share program is inspired by the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. This is a relationship between the farm and the customer. Rather than simply purchasing our products, customers become “Flower Share Members” of our farm and receive a portion of the farm’s harvest.

Our Flower Share subscriptions guarantee you a freshly picked and carefully arranged flower bouquet once a week. 2-season, 3-season, and single season subscriptions are available. You’ll enjoy blooms you won’t find at grocery stores or standard florists. In addition, you’ll know the flowers were grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and didn’t travel 2,500 miles to get to your table!

Purchasing a Flower Share is a way of supporting the farm at the early end of the season (literal seed money) so that it can flourish throughout the year. It also assures that you’ll reserve a high-value, weekly bouquet, even when demand is high.

Please read the Terms and Conditions below for more detailed information.

Flower Share Subscription Terms and Conditions

The Flower Share program is inspired by the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Model. This is a relationship between the farm and the customer. Rather than simply purchasing our products, customers become “Flower Share Members” of our farm and receive a portion of the farm’s harvest.

When you purchase a Spring Creek Blooms Flower Share, for yourself or as a gift, you understand and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment: I understand that to reserve and receive my Flower Share I must register and complete my payment in full. There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my Flower Share once purchased.

Seasonality: I understand that as a Flower Share Member, I share in the bounty, seasonality, and the risks of farming. I understand that Spring Creek Blooms will do what is within their power to have a successful and beautiful harvest. I understand that flowers are seasonal and only certain flowers bloom during certain times of the year. Risks of flower farming include poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests, or the total loss of all crops due to weather or pest events.

Flower care: Spring Creek Blooms bouquets stay fresh when they are treated with care. Bouquets are made with the freshest flowers, stored in a walk-in cooler, and carefully wrapped and transported to the customer. I should choose to pick up my flowers when I am close to being home and keep them in a climate-controlled (cool, out of direct sun) environment. I understand that flowers are a perishable product, with a variable vase life of 3-12 days. I understand that all flowers in my share are delivered within 24 hours of harvest in peak condition and that all varieties have a different vase life, dependent on care. Spring Creek Blooms will not be held responsible for shortened vase life or poor flower quality once I receive my share from the pickup location.  I understand that I should keep flowers in a cool spot out of direct sunlight and away from heating and cooling vents or fans. I understand that to prolong the vase life of flowers I should change the water in my vase and trim the bottom ⅓” of the stems every 2 days. I understand that I should also keep my fresh flowers 10 ft or more away from ripening fruit on the counter which can significantly shorten the vase life of fresh flowers.

Should there be any issue with my flowers upon pickup, I will contact Spring Creek Blooms via email within 12 hours to alert them of the issue. If possible I will include photographs to document the problem.

Picking up your share: I understand that my share will be delivered weekly at the pickup location I select upon checkout.  If I am out of town or unable to collect my bouquet for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to take my share. If I am unable to find a substitute, I will not receive credit or a refund for any shares that I do not pick up.

It is my responsibility to pick up my share during the designated time period on the designated day at the pickup location selected during checkout. If I am unable to pick it up, I will have someone else do so, or forfeit that bouquet and it will be donated at the discretion of the host pickup location.

If the Flower Share subscription was purchased as a gift, I understand that I am responsible for making sure that the gift recipient understands and agrees to the Flower Share terms and conditions including the pickup protocol.

I understand that each flower share will be wrapped in kraft paper and held in a bucket of water at the pickup site. I understand that Spring Creek Blooms does not provide a vase or water for me to transport the flowers from the pickup site.

Changes to my share: I understand that once I have purchased a CSA, I may not be able to extend my share due to a missed pick-up for any reason. I may coordinate a designee to pick up my share if I am unable to do so, or I may transfer my share to another individual if I am unable to continue with the bouquet subscription. I understand that Spring Creek Blooms will not help facilitate these transfers, and I will coordinate with the new shareholder to pay me directly for the rest of the share.

Communication: I understand that Spring Creek Blooms communicates important updates and changes by email. I agree to add susanna@springcreekblooms to my contacts.
